Education Vs Experience- Why not both? 

Retirement isn’t the final destination. More than a quarter of people who retire between the ages of 45 and 59 will return to work in some form, with many doing so full-time. So, what are the advantages of an experienced worker over a younger co-worker?

Covid’s impact on Australian Economies 

As the coronavirus pandemic, lockdown, and subsequent economic slump begin to hit hard, more businesses appear to be reporting employment cuts every week. Workers have been affected in a variety of sectors. Here are some of the work cuts that have been reported so far.

On the other hand, the healthcare and social-assistance sector employs the most people in Australia. This sector employed over 1.7 million workers in 2020, and it is expected to grow to more than 1.9 million by 2024.

Around a third of the Health Care and Social Assistance population is employed in occupations relevant to the HLT – Health Training Package. The jobs with the highest percentage of workers are aged and disabled carers and nursing support and personal care workers. Both are expected to rise significantly by 2024, with Aged and Disabled Caregivers increasing by more than 25%.

While all the other sectors were struggle and cutting their employers work healthcare was the only sector that was looking for more people to join in and still requires more people to come and join the industry.

Changing gears and swapping careers
